overview
The Japan Poker Association is an NPO (non-profit organization) established with the aim of promoting healthy poker in Japan.
We will support the sound operation of the poker business and encourage many Japanese poker players to succeed overseas.
As a member of IFP, we select the Japanese representative for the competition. We also use the international TDA rules and are a member of TDA.

Business content
1. The popularity of poker
• Increase awareness of poker in Japan as a "healthy intellectual sport."
• Activities to spread the appeal of poker to beginners and young people.
• Organizing national events and educational programs.
2. Developing and supporting players who can succeed overseas
• Provide information and support for trips to help Japanese players achieve success in international tournaments.
• Player development including training, strategy studies, English language support, etc.
• Interact and build networks with overseas poker organizations and casinos.
Japan Poker Association Travel Assistance Program
The Japan Poker Association has established an overseas travel subsidy program to create an environment where active domestic players can challenge the world.
Purpose of travel assistance
• To help talented players to perform in major tournaments overseas.
Selection Method
• Players who have achieved excellent results in the qualifying tournament will be selected.
• Selection will be based on fair and transparent rules.
Supplementary content
Travel assistance covers part or all of the following costs:
• Travel expenses (airfare) to the international convention
• Accommodation fees (during the tournament)
• Tournament entry fee
Operational Transparency
• Subsidies are paid at actual cost after receipts are verified.
• The subsidy results will be published in the Association's activity report.
