Basic rules and progression
Texas Hold'em, a classic poker game
In Japan, when people think of poker, they tend to imagine draw poker, where players change cards to build their hand, or seven-card stud, where players gradually deal cards to individual players and compete to see who can make the best hand. However, the poker that is currently popular around the world is Hold'em. This is a poker that is easy for beginners to understand and get into, and anyone can have a chance. However, there are many people who become addicted to the game's development, which allows them to improve their level.
Objective of the game
The main goal of a poker game is to win the game and get all the money that has been bet in the pot.
There are two ways to win.
The player who has the highest hand among the players remaining until the showdown will be the winner.
○ Forces all other players to fold and becomes the automatic winner.
The ideal victory for a player is to complete a high-ranking hand without the other players realizing it, leading many players to the showdown and collecting more bets in the pot. Also, even if the hand is not complete, it is to repeatedly take aggressive actions and force players with potential high-ranking hands to fold, winning without waiting for the showdown.
